Nathan Stine, Fireman with the Woodburn Fire Department in Allen County, Indiana
Nathan has been a volunteer fire fighter in Allen County Indiana for almost 23 years. In those 23 years he has expanded his fire fighting base knowledge to receive more certifications for fire fighting than I can even remember. He also went on to become an Emergency Medical Technician, an Advanced EMT, and then finished off with an associate’s degree in paramedic science as a licensed paramedic in the state of Indiana. My husband then in early 2019 continued to pursue his dreams and was appointed as a full time career fire fighter for Woodburn Fire Department, where he was recently promoted to the department EMS director. My husband selflessly continues to serve the community he grew up in and sets an example for our 4 daughters every day.
